One of the main goals and tasks of the EU4Art_differences project is to create a LAB(oratory) of the participating institutions, — the Hungarian University of Fine Arts (MKE), the Hochschule für Bildende Künste (HfBK) in Dresden, the Academia di Belle Arti (ABARoma) in Rome and the Art Academy of Latvia (LMA) in Riga — through which they will interpret the concept of artistic research, its organisation, research and development possibilities. Due to the different local contexts and institutional traditions, the partners will develop their own concepts and launch their own LABs in cooperation but independently of each other.
The publication titled „Labification – Metaphor of Practice” edited by the MKE Wp2 team, gives an overview about the visions, goals and achievements of each partner institution regarding the LABs. It was released on the occassion of the conference held at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts on 23 March 2023, which was open to the press.
