The European University of film and media arts hosted the annual FilmEU Summit from the 7th to the 10th of June at the National Film School, IADT in Dublin. The event showed their project’s progress, allowed them to communicate their findings with the broader academic community, and welcomed partners to debate artistic research topics. Environmental Sustainability in Film Education and the Broader Film and Media Arts Industries was the focus this year.
Policymakers, experts, academic professionals, and, most importantly, students will speak during the open sessions. Our project, which included epistemic approaches to artistic research and progress on the Virtual Atelier, was presented by Manuel Angel Maca (LMA), Franco Ripa di Meana (ABARoma), and Till A. Baumhauer (HfBK).
